- Lower tooling costs compared to etching, embossing, or injection-molding
- High-fidelity replication
- Highly competitive for parts sizes smaller than about 6x6mm
- Variety of polymers available for:
- High damage threshold
- Improved UV transmission down to 320nm
- Dicing and core drilling
