LED Color Mixing
Color mixing provides an important means to obtain white light of controlled color temperature by combining RGB arrays of LED’s.
Our LED LightShapers™ provide a twofold advantage when used with RGB LED arrays:
- Efficient and uniform color mixing
- Simultaneous beam shaping of the mixed LED light
The basic principle of color mixing relies in the utilization of a strong enough diffuser where the angular spread of the diffuser exceeds the angular spread of the LED sources. Our diffusers effectively mix LED light but go beyond this homogenization function by also shaping the mixed light distribution.
